i mean your miles are way off
Correct, was waiting to see if that would be caught.i mean your miles are way off
Posted, I think you're a bit high.Mike what does it say with 50K miles?
Not how that works John. Thanks good to see what the website shows as a market price for a stock one.
Here's the thing, the car is way faster than a stock one and still has good manners. I think 19-20 is more than fair.
They definitely add some value, to the right buyer.Easy to negotiate down, pretty hard to negotiate up as a seller. I think it’s a solid asking price for a rad car.
Also bs mods can’t add value. You can say that all you want but I don’t think that’s true at all.
In my experience it's tougher to unload a modified car.Easy to negotiate down, pretty hard to negotiate up as a seller. I think it’s a solid asking price for a rad car.

Which is why I've almost always saved stock parts and demodded when going to sell or trade-in. Recoup the monies selling the aftermarket parts, rather than waiting for the needle in the haystack buyer. In my experience it's tougher to unload a modified car.
Your audience size becomes greatly reduced, and it tends to drag on and on waiting to find the right ass for the seat, which tends to end up in lowering your price and moving the car.
There are exceptions to the rule (and hopefully John ends up being one of them) but those are pretty rare.
Camaros that I have left alone (stock) I was always able to unload quickly...modified cars were always a pain in the ass...and is nearly impossible in the Corvette world
This is a wise choice.Which is why I've almost always saved stock parts and demodded when going to sell or trade-in. Recoup the monies selling the aftermarket parts, rather than waiting for the needle in the haystack buyer.
PSJ does it all himself, he's a mekanik with skinny pants and chopsticksThis is a wise choice.
But...when those parts are cam/heads/intake/headers/trans/stall/coolers plus a retune.....it gets labor intensive and costly.
At the very least, throw the scanner on and get the ABS light resolved. No one wants to buy a car with a warning light on.I'm flex on price if the right person comes along who is a bit handy we can negotiate around the fix-it items... Or I'll keep fixing 'em.
Bone stock I went 13.15@106, and in current trim it's been 10.90@125. People appreciate the performance but I know it's harder to finance a car this old.
agreed if you want over book value you need to have the car ready to go and in mint condition. Buyer paying that much knows he is over paying but wants it it turn key and just ride with no worries. They definitely add some value, to the right buyer.
However, if you're trying to get $19-20K for that car, the ABS light needs to be resolved, door panels replaced and new rear tires.
It’s been at 20k and hasn’t moved in the middle of summer. He will blink and it will be fall- winter and be worth less and attract less buyers.Easy to negotiate down, pretty hard to negotiate up as a seller. I think it’s a solid asking price for a rad car.

At no bites with all this money being tossed around for expensive toys I would ask myself what’s the lowest I will take and drop it there and stay firm to get more bites.I'm flex on price if the right person comes along who is a bit handy we can negotiate around the fix-it items... Or I'll keep fixing 'em.
