I don't mind the free bumps.

I did daily this car.

I've got 1-2 folks interested but I was traveling for the holiday. No worries, the longer I have it the less there is to fix.

-Car has an ABS light on, I'll check the fuses. If they are fine, it could be a wheel speed sensor or some corrosion on a hub (per the web). Light has been on for years, maybe we broke or didn't fully plug in a rear wheel speed sensor when I had Manna swap in the G-Force axles.
-Recent oil change, always synthetic
-Recent trans flush
-Recently took out door ding
-Door inserts are sagging, they are cloth. I see other door panels on marketplace all the time, or I might change them.
-Rear tires are worn.
-Comes with HPT cable, (2) 3" Flowmaster cats which could be welded into the exhaust which is full 3", a full size spare.

Thanks good to see what the website shows as a market price for a stock one.

Here's the thing, the car is way faster than a stock one and still has good manners. I think 19-20 is more than fair.
Not how that works John.

Mods are .50 on a dollar (if you're lucky), and the reliablity of mods are less than an OEM car provides.

Good on you if you can get that 20K though!

If you wanna unload it, go in the 17-18 range. But, I don't think you need to sell either, so wait it out in hopes that you get that extra few grand.

Easy to negotiate down, pretty hard to negotiate up as a seller. I think it’s a solid asking price for a rad car.

Also bs mods can’t add value. You can say that all you want but I don’t think that’s true at all.

They definitely add some value, to the right buyer.

However, if you're trying to get $19-20K for that car, the ABS light needs to be resolved, door panels replaced and new rear tires.

In my experience it's tougher to unload a modified car.

Your audience size becomes greatly reduced, and it tends to drag on and on waiting to find the right ass for the seat, which tends to end up in lowering your price and moving the car.

There are exceptions to the rule (and hopefully John ends up being one of them) but those are pretty rare.

Camaros that I have left alone (stock) I was always able to unload quickly...modified cars were always a pain in the ass...and is nearly impossible in the Corvette world

Which is why I've almost always saved stock parts and demodded when going to sell or trade-in. Recoup the monies selling the aftermarket parts, rather than waiting for the needle in the haystack buyer.

This is a wise choice.

But...when those parts are cam/heads/intake/headers/trans/stall/coolers plus a retune.....it gets labor intensive and costly.

I'm flex on price if the right person comes along who is a bit handy we can negotiate around the fix-it items... Or I'll keep fixing 'em.

Bone stock I went 13.15@106, and in current trim it's been 10.90@125. People appreciate the performance but I know it's harder to finance a car this old.
At the very least, throw the scanner on and get the ABS light resolved. No one wants to buy a car with a warning light on.

agreed if you want over book value you need to have the car ready to go and in mint condition. Buyer paying that much knows he is over paying but wants it it turn key and just ride with no worries.

It’s been at 20k and hasn’t moved in the middle of summer. He will blink and it will be fall- winter and be worth less and attract less buyers.

At no bites with all this money being tossed around for expensive toys I would ask myself what’s the lowest I will take and drop it there and stay firm to get more bites.
