Has to be fun with the V8
Honestly, V8 SHOs are kind of Slugs (235hp/220tq?).
However, they sound fantastic (3.4 quad cam V8, 7K redline), and have an exceptionally smooth powerband, but the Taurus is still like 3500lbs and it’s still an automatic, so they run like super high 14s on a good day in the quarter, but mid 15s is more likely.
That all being said, $2500 for a V8 sedan that is rust free and well put together is a screaming deal for a fun, very unique car.
If I had a kid that was into cars and needed a first car, I’d be all over this.
