2003 Ford Escape XLS 3.0l V6 - perfect DD/winter beater - $3,000

Up for sale is a 2003 Ford Escape XLS - 2WD - 3.0L DOHC - 148,000 miles

The good stuff:
It's got new spark plugs (with upper plenum gasket)
new front brake pads and rotors
new right outer tie rod
new battery
new oil/filter, trans fluid, coolant, air filter, and front wipers.
it had an alternator and front swaybar links done in the last year. its got great heat and ice cold AC too

The not good:
the exhaust flex pipe has a leak. it's not noisy, and barely noticeable. the catalyst is NOT part of this pipe.
the car does not have the original key fob. the car belonged to my parent's neighbor for the longest time, and about a year ago their house burned down (car was parked on the street). so the key and fob were melted in the house.
the tires on it are decent, but a little noisey.
the seats have some weird staining. i tried scrubbing them a little bit, but gave up. im sure with the proper seat cleaner it will come out. i have no clue what the fuck these people spilled.
slight rust on both rear quarter panels. shown in the pictures

it actually does well in the snow, and would do even better with a pair of snow tires.
real world fuel mileage is 16ish in the city, and mid-low 20s on the highway.
lets make a deal, i dont want to deal with craigslist

??

should get way more than that..

Real world im at 20city and 27 highway.. mine is even AWD.

This would have been perfect last month for me.. I started looking around the 3-5k range.. obviously i ended up spending way more than that

GLWS!
