2003 Cobra 10th Anniversary

Well,

This is probably the hardest thing I have to do, but, it needs to be done. I am selling my 2003 Cobra.

I bought this car a little over a year ago, with 13k on the clock. The car is very mint, with the exception of a few small things, that are truly hardly noticeable. The car now has 26, 300 miles on it.

The car will be sold with the mods, or parted out and returned to stock with a different price. This car is extremely tastefully done, and will make anyone that wants a nice Cobra, extremely happy.

Current mods on the car

Borla stinger Cat-back
Mac O/R Prochamber
BF 2.76 pulley W 4 idlers
Fluidyne Heat Exchanger
LDC Chicago Head cooling mod
LPW IRS differential cover(upgraded bolts, and a stronger/lighter unit for more abuse)
Spec2+ Clutch W/ Aluminum flywheel(the clutch is completely broken in and has not seen the track. About 1100 miles on the clutch, which were babied to hell)
H&R SS Springs
KB Extreme Matrix System
All IRS and Suspension bushings were replaced
MGW Orange Handle( Brand new, installed for less than 3 months)
KB Subframe Connectors
35 % tint all the way around, not including the windshield.

The car made 462 RWHP and486 RWTQ @ 12 PSI. Has an SOS Gauge pod, with Carbon Fiber Autometer Boost/Vac gauge, and an oil pressure gauge not currently wired.

The car has seen the track twice, with a total of 7 passes. Ran a best of 12.4 @ 117 bogging and missing a gear, in near 100 degree weather and granny shifting. If you can drive, you will be well into the 11's with this car.

The car is available anytime for you to come look at. I reside in Mount Prospect.

With the current mods, and including an extra two 10th anni wheels with Toyo DR's with more than half tread left, I am asking $23,500 OBO

Returned to stock, I am looking for $22,000 OBO

Please let me know if you have any questions. Many people can vouch for this car, and have seen it in person. I take great care of this car, and only go to the best shop and do all the detailing myself.

Here are some pics of the car.

this thing is still here!? im surprised nobody has picked it up for that price..

Honestly, a lot of low ballers dude. I am in a hurry to sell it, and am willing to give someone the deal of a lifetime for a car so well done, or even returned to stock, in amazing shape for this type of car. I'm sure it will sell, just a little disheartening. The people that have responded from this site have been awesome.

Test drove this car with intent on buying it..

SUPER badass car... easiest cobra ive ever driven...

worth MUCH MUCH more than hes asking... someone BUY THIS

Thanks bro! That means a lot. I am sorry for your situation, and hope it works out for you dude. If I physically had the income to keep the car, and still have a new place, I would keep it until you were ready to buy it.

No hits on the SVT boards either? What are they going for on ebay? Your car is super clean, Im would figured it sold by now.....Where did Flatliner end up selling his?

He sold it to a guy from CSVT and CMC, who had a 2V GT.

Typically, since this is a buyers season, my car would normally go for 23k easily on ebay, or on sites, as the normal price. Especially since it's a 10th anni, and there are only 2000 of them in the world, and the car is in such good shape.

However, people are people, and want to spend as little as possible, to try and get a head. I'm one that understands you get what you pay for, and will pay for something worth it, if that makes sense.

There are numerous hits on CSVT, and I still have a few people coming to check on the car. This car is not for everyone, is not perfect, but, if you are into racing, and want a pretty fast car, that has little power mods on it, this is a good choice.

Although, the fastest bang for buck is buying a 2-3k bike, and running some 10's with it, now THAT is fast. ( I might be buying a bike in the future, maybe you can teach me to ride, haha)

I hope so too. I'm sure it will work out. I'm no longer in a rush to sell the car, so, I will wait it out until late June.

might have a good beginners bike to sell ya :pedobear:

I might be interested @ the end of summer. I will keep that in mind dude.

Grabber put this car on Ebay and you will see what it is really worth. No offense to anyone here or other forums, but is very hard to sell car on forums unless it's a steal and people tend to want a deal of a lifetime on forums cause there are a ton of the same cars as yours foresale. At 20k there are a ton of low mileage cobras foresale everywhere if you wanna sell quick lower that price and stay firm, but it has to be lower than everyone elses cobra. The price at 20k is last years prices and they are getting lower if you look around. Put it on autotrader and cars.com and maybe autofcus and it will sell quick I've seen your car in person it is sharp just be patient and it will sell.

Daily bump.

I understand Beast. Regardless, I am giving this car away, as it sits. I've personally never seen a Cobra in such good condition (even with a bad head unit and a few marks on the carpet of the interior) and that has a clean title, with under 30k go for less than 22k.

Sure, there are Cobra's with whipple/kb's, lots of miles going for cheaper. However, if you want a car with the risk of reliability issues, a shit load of miles, etc. Go for it.

I'm willing to just give the car away, and I will be taking a loss anyway @ 20k. Ya know what I mean homie, :D
