I just hit 200,000 miles yesterday and what a trip it has been. The car has been though good times, bad times and unexpected times, but it's always been there. This car has really stood the test of time and I have learned a lot with it. At 12 miles on the clock, I was happy as could be with a brand new car.

Barely 16 years old and knew nothing about anything. At 50,000 miles I had done quite a bit of drag racing at Da Grove and met a few Marauder Community members, plus we all got along. At 100,000 miles it was time for a new engine because I wanted to supercharge it. I recall it was $5,500 to rebuild it and a lot less than that for a new engine a member on mm.net was selling, so I bought it. Turns out it was a good decision even back then, putting boost (for the first time) on a 100,000 mile Marauder engine isn't the best decision, no pun intended for MMBlue... just something we knew back then. 150,000 miles was quite a turning point in life. I was lonely, suicidal, overweight, but I pulled myself out of it. Made up with my drummer and pretty much my best friend, started working my way up in the music industry and created a better life. 200,000 I am married, have a 3rd engine (Cobra shortblock) and have never been happier with life. I know who my friends are, who to stay away from and was also kick out of the mm.net community... good.

In a weird way the car has reflected life in general. It had it's ups, downs, good days, bad days and break downs, but you keep going. The reason the car is on it's 3rd engine is because of all of the fun I have had it with. I am sure if I left it 100% stock it would still be on a lot more original parts.

Now the rant: Big middle finger to those who see reaching even 20,000 miles on your Marauder as a bad thing. These people do not deserve to have such a car if they see driving it as a bad thing. These cars were meant to be driven and you really need to live for today. Life is unexpected. Sometimes something good can pop up, but chances are the bad happens even more unexpectedly which is why you need to drive your car today. If you care about value go to the Wall Street Casino in NYC or buy Property. Those examples are fitting for buying depending on value and not doing anything with it. The Marauder is a machine, a driving machine, a mean machine. It's not a Ferrari Daytona or a six figure Mopar convertible! Drive your cars people!

The last 11,000 miles were made possible by Zack. I cannot say enough about this man. He's been there more than anyone and is more caring than anyone I know. If you don't believe me it's because you don't listen carefully to him, when you do you will realize he's a teddy bear that has a tendency to yell. :pedobear:

The car has been great. Even after ten solid years people still don't know what this is. It's gotta be the most Old School car for the past ten years. By that I mean cable driven throttle, nondigital miles, lacks traction control (Mine at least) and a whole bunch of other things that are now making cars smarter and drivers dumber. I will keep driving this car until the wheels fall off, then I will bolt them back on and drive it some more.

Happy Maraudering to all. Lay down some rubber today.

What an experience Dom. These are the stories I miss reading that you used to write. You've got to get back to your creative writing side again. When you hit 400K with it, you should have an 18 year old ready to be driving it.

I don't know if I will have an 18 year old at 400,000 miles. I want kids, but not right now. I might get to 400,000 before you know it. A life changing event might occur near the end of this month and if all goes well I will be doing a lot more driving. Let's put it this way, I don't wanna ride around this country on a tour bus.

I still do "creative writing" here and there, but there's really no where to post it. It comes out in songs when I have had a bad day. I don't know why, but the same thing occurred with Hank Williams Sr.

Have a wet one!

Even an old video or link to a recording that contained your music would be fine.

Bubs. I don't Facebook. Have any CD's I can buy?
I will have a demo I can give you. We had stuff on youtube with the old singer, but this new one can sing like ringing a bell. At the very least I can email you an mp3 right now.

I was kicked out because I spoke up against the people who disliked me. They didn't like the way I said it and I was labeled a racist. After that people with flags wanted their money back, thus I was bad for "business". So like any business they fire the person costing the company money. Proving all they care about is the money. If they cared about the car, they wouldn't ban people who had the most knowledge to share. Not that I could bring any Marauder knowledge to the table, but some just don't like me. Those that didn't were usually people who never met me. Those that have met me and disliked me on-line have depression and anger issues that they will never admit to. They can stay miserable if they choose to, doesn't bother me anymore. I am done trying to help them. Even sent them emails giving them life advice, but being that they are much older and hardheaded than me, they think I cannot teach them anything and I don't know what I am talking about. pretty immature coming from those who said I was the rebel without a clue.

That's putting it very nicely.

Good for you hitting 200k. The cars are definitely good for that and much more.

I'm with junior, I always enjoyed reading your posts about your exploits over on mmbuttfucker.net Dom.
Them axing Travis & Zack just proves they're out to extract maximum $$ from their members via $$ in sponsor's pockets, not breed good DIY tech and thus support for the cars.

That being said, I rarely post over there unless the clowns are sucking each other off really hard as I imagine if I let the true asshole off of the leash(like I do here) I'd get the ban hammer too.
Good on you for remaining true to who you are and not letting them beat you down.

What is your handle over there?
I don't really post much over there cause well...I don't have anything to say really so nothing wrong yet i hope. But I mean in my opinion I just think its really stupid on how they ban people like you sir, Dom Zack and well anyone else banned. Its just a car forum ONLINE not some special high class golf club, you know lol. I just believe us marauder owners should stay together through good or bad and actually try and be a car club and help each other out, (whether its good or bad advice) but I guess they don't see that lol oh well.

But to get back on topic I'm actually really impressed on the 200,000miles! And its supercharged?? :O

Sounds like its been one hell of a ride Dom...
Sure has! I finally put in those high performance bearings on the ideler pulley, I was doing 100+ on the highway and blasting The Rolling Stones. No trip in this car is boring. Ever.

Didn't you recently attend Marauderville 10 that is sponsored by MM.net? Did you get thrown out? Were you even asked to leave?
