Well I sort of decided I wanted to get back into riding, but I wanted to be able to ride on the street or in the dirt rather than trailer a bike around, which led me to the Honda 450l reading it was a bit down on power compared to similar Ktm’s but priced high led me to ktm’s, finding out the one I was looking at required very frequent oil changes and valve checks led me to the Husqvarna 701, and here we are a 74hp 320lb beast of a street legal dirt bike and I managed to ride it 11 miles in freezing temperatures the first day lol

Damn, that is sexy!!! Congratulations, that is a nice bike! We will have to ride this year. I try and head down to Fox Valley Offroad in Ottawa when I can to get in some quick day riding.

I will probably wait till I hit 600 miles, they are going to do the first service for me and install the drop, then I’ll order a bunch of stuff he said he will give me 15% off whatever I want

I had no idea that Husqvarna manufactured bikes! I'm glad to see you matched color with your other toys :)

Also, if you do plan on doing any trail riding you need to ditch those TKC 80's for a good DOT knobby. TKC 80's are great ADV bike tires for street or dirt/gravel roads. But you will hate life in most trail conditions.

Do this to it. You know you want to...

They had one of those right next to mine in the showroom, it looks cool but I like being able to off-road, the first thing I did when I got home with it was hit some gravel roads, I’m going to try to find some dirt roads today after the gym lol

Just got back from a quick 20 mile ride, hands very numb lol, this things a riot was out banging some ditches and hitting some gravel roads, for as big of a bike as it is it doesn’t feel like it when your riding around it feels easily maneuverable and a crack of the throttle stands it up at anything under 80mph

Still waiting on my tidy tail to be shipped, I ordered black spoke covers so the wheels will be blacked out, hopefully even though it’s windy I want to put a tank of gas though it tomorrow when it’s warm out
