🔧 BUILD 1quick’s new toy for summer of 23

General Information

Not a car sorry bro’s, sold my 2016 bmw s1000r last month, replaced it with a 2022 bmw s1000rr picked it up used with 1800 miles full titanium akro exhaust and a tidy tail otherwise it’s stock, I plan to do a bren stage 2 tune velocity stack sprint filter intake flapper kit and front strap kit for drag racing possibly drop a couple teeth off the rear sprocket to make launching easier that’s about it, here’s the only picture I have it’s getting delivered in the next week or two

Sounds nasty, it was a little bit of a hard start here I actually chopped the video down to be able to upload directly from my phone but it died right before this, it’s a cold start stock tuning issue with full exhaust but that will be taken care of very soon

Such an awesome bike. It would kill me to buy that and then have to pretty much park it right away for the winter

You know, I mean if I actually had a winter out here.
It does suck, and that’s why I was waiting till spring then I started thinking about how I could probably save a couple grand if I just pull the trigger now when most people arnt thinking about motorcycles, that part worked but now I just start it and listen for 5 minutes a day until the roads are clear again

Try buying a brand new $20k+ bike...in January...and not getting it until March. Worst 3 months ever.
I atleast got to ride mine to the gym one day when it was in the low 40’s lol it would have been sitting in the showroom till mid January if I didn’t go pick it up due to lack of drivers and me not haveing many days off

This is the only 42 tooth sprocket for m package wheels that exist
Just plan to swap it out every few thousand miles, especially if you're hard on it. It's still 525 so it's pretty thick. I'm curious how you like it, these things are geared tall as it is so going down 2 in the rear will be interesting.

I have an aluminum 520 rear on mine, thing is thin and light AF, I just put a new one on every 10ish track days.

It is geared tall, hopefully this sprocket does the trick on taming the friend end down, going from a 45 to a 42 tooth sprocket knocked .4 off my 1/4 mile on the s1000r

This bike scares the fuck out of me and I love it lol, it is more manageable now but still hard on the wheelie control up to 130ish, the 2-3 shift is now at 129mph, only mods are exhaust and a sprocket this things going to get down with a tune 1st and 2nd gear have like 75% power pulled out until over 8k rpm

I’m able to roll into it in 1’st gear now still hangs it out hard but it’s soft enough that wheelie control can prevent it from going over, 1’st gear goes to 95+mph now I let off at 95 but wasn’t on the limiter yet
