🔧 BUILD 1quick’s new toy for summer of 23

General Information

Not a car sorry bro’s, sold my 2016 bmw s1000r last month, replaced it with a 2022 bmw s1000rr picked it up used with 1800 miles full titanium akro exhaust and a tidy tail otherwise it’s stock, I plan to do a bren stage 2 tune velocity stack sprint filter intake flapper kit and front strap kit for drag racing possibly drop a couple teeth off the rear sprocket to make launching easier that’s about it, here’s the only picture I have it’s getting delivered in the next week or two

Where did you pick it up from? Looks like they have a decent inventory. Might have to check in spring to see what they have if I sell the track bike.
Windy City international in Saint Charles, that’s ware I picked up my last bike from as well, if your looking Ross is the salesman I’ve used and he has gotten me pretty good deals both times

Wicked bike!

For the non bike guys:
Stock, it has 205 hp, and weighs 434 lbs.
With a 180 lb rider, that's the same power to weight ratio as a 1200 hp car that weighs 3700 lbs.

Depending on rider ability and weight, quarter mile time is around 10 seconds at over 150 mph. With the listed mods, 8's is quite achievable...

I’d be happy with mid 9’s im not the best at launching a bike, but it should make my ride to work more fun lol

I suspect most have problems launching something like that and keeping the front down. But most anything on the street that outlaunched you would be quickly overtaken in the next 2-5 seconds. So aside from trying to "put a number on it" at the track, you probably don't have to sweat making awesome launches on the street aside from practicing to get better at it. :)

This bike has the launch control feature with wheelie control built in for the first 2 gears it’s not as fast as being good at launching but it will probably be good enough for me to run a few decent numbers the couple times a year ago to the track

10s? Try mid 9s with a decent rider. They've been damn near mid 8s with a pro rider. A total noob should be able to go mid to high 10s with ease

I was running 10.4’s pretty consistently on my s1000r I’m hoping to be quite a bit faster on this one, I’m definitely no pro rider though
