Are you adding water/ice directly to the intercooler? I thought the water/ice was usually added to the tank and the water circulated through the intercooler from there. Never seen an inter cooler like that before.

no, if you can see the tanks are seperated and not welded together....hoses will connect the two...pump is inside the water tank and water pumped into intercooler and back in.

Small few updates....shifter mounted, seat mounted, tanks mounted, and steering done. Hoping to start wiring car in a few weeks. Picking up my two speed th400 transmission tomorrow at the NMRA race from Mark @ M&M transmission.

Mike, what's the advantage of converting the 400 to a 2 speed instead of using a pg?

The biggest advantage is the choices of gear ratios to choose from. second would be how must stronger a th400 is than a glide. Have you ever picked up one and then the other? Night and day difference.
