Turn it up to 8, get to about 450 at the tire and drive it. Don't get greedy if it's a production block, she'll be gtg. I wouldn't go to more than 12 in general on a 5.0 that's stock, just my paranoia though. That seems to be where you get to head gasket issues if you're dealing with production heads at least based off what I've seen.
Being a wagon she should dead nuts hook and you'll still break some off for a lotta people.

Nope went with the basic bitch combo of 4.8L, BTR cam, and an On3 turbo.Thought you were on a 5.0 with some mods my bad.
I think it had 450 in it spinning it out to 6500+I'm more impressed by what it did on 87.
Nah, a friend of mine is. Gives the kids something fun to work on that the school would never bank roll.So wait are you an auto shop teacher?
Props on spreading the wealth of knowledge ya have. I often think my knowledge is wasted on just me.
Those lucky punks. Best we had was when I brought in a bag of 307 olds piston parts and chunks after I had put a 200 plate on my 84 lesabre out of the blue.
Your living proof that Ford guys can be heroes not just zeros![]()
Didn't touch it. Didn't even look at it.Did you open up the ring gap at all in this thing or did the truck it came out of so a decent job?
Tune seems like it's in a good spot (albeit on the conservative side). Not making the power I was hoping for; can't figure out why yet. It basically picked up nothing on E85 with more timing. Doing some troubleshooting.
Lol it would work if the wheel had a different offset to tuck them in more. They just stick out too far.All them big wheel guys weld bolts to stop the spindle where it rubs. I suggest that. Lol. It's gotta work. Seen it on 95% of big wheel stuff![]()
Same with the big wheel stuff... Always sticks out to the lip of fender at the wrong ride height..Lol it would work if the wheel had a different offset to tuck them in more. They just stick out too far.
