Cam looks fine for now. Balancer is a question mark.

I am curious as to the windage clearance of the oil pan. Old one ugly and deep. New one pretty and shallow.

Forgot to post already have New Cam, gaskets, 781 Heads recent rebuild, longtubes, Edelbrock 2.0 Manifold, 750 Quickfuel carb, and 2.5" exhaust, 3.08 gear rear end, Just need to add Posi to it and Disc brakes from a 9C1 Caprice or Impala SS Already have the SS sway bar

I miss those old 70’s shitboxes...grew up driving those GM things (I had two ‘77 GP’s and one ‘76).

sure they were gigantic, guzzled gas, and had no power; still cool.
Domestic quality was at an all time low in the mid to late’70s. Hardly any of those cars left.

Well just a winter blue's Update : Well shortly after my Last Update I had to figure out a Gastroinstenal issue Fast fwd to 4 weeks ago I have inner issue figured out and Bam I take garbage to curb and bend down to pick up a bag of garbage that fell out of wagon stand up and I feel a pop pop in my Left knee I am paralyzed standing at end pf driveway for ten minutes waiting for fiance to get home from taking Kiddos to school.....

Went to ER yup you guessed it ......fractured in two spots Then the Virus Takes over the world ARRGGGG So waiting for knee to heal and will get back at it, I am adding a 1981 Z/28 Functional Cowl hood scoop assembly to the hood and the correct needed gas pedal to actuate the Flapper on the scoop

I'm guessing they have a cutting macine? That's pretty cool stuff, you gonna bang a couple sets out? Would be curious if there was a market for em.

So I did a thing with Daughters help put the rallys next to her car and Trial fitting the 80 Camaro Z/28 functional hood scoop out of Box to see where I want it, I can work on this part at least while my knee fracture heals up then I can get back at the 454 finished up once I get off the Crutches I believe I am gonna move the scoop forward off the hood Vents for I believe the air cleaner assembly is gonna dictate that move.
