Been a minute since an update, finally got around to start cleaning underneath from the body shop and rubber from the track. Also waxed it again and threw on another coat of sealant. This shot shows how good the metal guy is.

Those 15’s fit over the ls1 Fbody brake kit you’ve got? Daaaamn

Front and rear C5 brakes are interchangeable. I have the rear brakes from a C5 up front now. You just have to swap rear d side to front p side (and vice versa) so bleeder stays on top. Caliper bracket bolted right up to the bracket on the spindle. It’s why I went with the C5 setup, in case I wanted to cheaply swap to a 15 down the road.

So you have a single piston caliper up front with a 13” rotor now? Same caliper out back then?

I don’t think C5’s have 13” rear rotors? But yes, single piston. Stops perfectly fine, some people were worried about that on the vette forum where I learned about this. I’m running 96 mustang gt rear brakes because of the 9” and had to have the rear rotors drilled for Chevy bolt pattern.

Had a little fun on Sunday. V is a 10.5-.6 car. Street is a great equalizer. We raced a third time but they posted the vid on my fb instead of sending it to me.

They aired down the tires, disappeared for 45mins “to get gas” and beat me finally. I actually aired mine down aswell and spun horribly compared to fully aired up (32psi) in these vids.
