Is that even detailing at that point? Just get it painted if you want a glass smooth paint job. If you want factory paint I would think you want to leave it in the factory condition but then again I am not a rich person so what do I know.

Edit: So its delivery mileage, but he had it sanded down and then had a film put on it. So sand down the orange peel, then add it back in with the film. This whole thing makes no sense to me at all.

Jesus thats crazy. Thats also where Shmee takes all his cars to get PPF'ed. They do amazing things there. They also developed their own "peel-able" paint that they spray onto a car, and effectively its a new paint job, but if the owner gets tired of it, they can peel it all off and go with something else.
