From the Naperville Sun:
Records on file in DuPage County Circuit Court in Wheaton indicated Hinkle's driver's license was suspended for the first time in 1988, when he was 17. He was sentenced to prison in March 2008 on a felony charge of driving with a suspended or revoked license, after being stopped by police in Woodridge, court records showed.
Between 1987 and 2007, Hinkle received at least 26 traffic tickets and was arrested on six misdemeanor criminal charges in Westmont, Willowbrook and Woodridge, according to court records. Those crimes included theft, battery, resisting police and marijuana possession, court records indicated.
Most of Hinkle's traffic citations involved driving with a suspended or revoked license, court records showed. He was ticketed 13 times between April 1990 and July 1996 for driving with a suspended license and four times between May 1997 and April 2000 for driving with a revoked license before receiving the 2008 prison sentence, according to court records.
