yea you are right, EVO's are crap and why would you ever want one....id much rather have a 2.8 motorswapped fiero running high 12's.... or wait... no, id rather have a car that i dont have to swap engines to not be a boat anchor.... guess ill stick with my 1.997 liter crapbox
The subject was for 1.99L engines and smaller and I stated I never had one and why would I want one.
But to get back to your reply, I never said anything about EVO's let alone them being "crap" and I never said an engine being smaller were crap, Just that I would not want one.

well 111mph is more like mid to low 12's i guess... but either way im seriously unimpressed that a motor swapped 20+ year old car can beat a bone stock new car with a warranty....im sure i could post a few evos that run faster than your fiero.

Quit trying to put words into my post. I never said you needed a V-8 to go fast. I know many cars without V-8's that are faster. Hell I never claimed to be "the fastest". It's a "stock" V-8. where did I ever imply it was gods gift to ultra-fast cars?????? Geez, Take a valium.
As for impressing you, I had no intention of trying to impress you. If you would rather just buy a pocket rocket with a warranty and not actually build your own car, that is your preference. Oh, and before you start posting more assumed crap about how I somehow think buying a performance vehicle rather than build one makes any difference to me, It does not. I know many cars that you can buy that are faster. It's not the cars I have a issue with, It's folks like you who seem to get the "ego" option with the car.
