Sooo, couldn't wait any longer for my '94 cobra to be done, needed my fix lol. As seeing how my other turd box is moving away from 'street car' manors, I wanted something I could take out to shows, cruise, and just enjoy. I do plan to fuck this car up, so for any Shelby purists, this thread will not be your friend. I'm not a big road race guy, been there, and done that with some of my older cars. While fun, I like my short burst, lame 1/4 mile racing that takes no skill (kidding). Some may remember me, some may not, for those that do, you know what's coming lol.

I picked up the car a few weeks ago from Fargo ND, was a long trip but worth it. Car is bone stock, with 2600 miles on it. It's a lead foot gray, strip delete car, babied its whole life. Heres some pics from that journey. Left at 7am, got back at 3am that night. Was so tired, just pulled the trailer in the garage with the car and said fuck it lol.

In an effort to pull a little more weight from the car before the turbski's go on, I changed up my tire setup. Ended up going to Hoosier bias plys for the front, they have the widest section width of the available 18" tires. Feel a little safer, as these are 18x6 wheels. The weight difference is pretty crazy, those MT's are bricks for sure lol. Looking at roughly 15lb saving per wheel/tire, or 30lbs total off the nose.

Thanks guys!

Looks awesome! It’s a shame that Ford still has a prop rod in place on the current Mustang.
Yep, can't believe they haven't put them on the mustang, or at least premium models.

God I love this car. Turbo kit on?
Soon, hoping to have it fabbed up and pipes out for coating next weekend. Still have lots of stuff to do in prep for the turbos

Wew, got the K member in, time to get busy next two weeks. Weight of just the K is 35lbs, with the added in legs, another 11lbs, or 46lbs total. Ill weigh the stock K when it comes down, but every bit of weight lost is a plus for me. I may end up keeping the stock motor mounts, just don't need any more vibration in the car then these Voodoo motors already produce.

Finally got my 2 stepidystep in, and replaced a bad lower bearing in the rear control arm.. The bearing was super tight right out of the box and never loosened up as I was hoping. BMR got me a new one right away, just finally got around to tearing the rear back apart and doing it. Also had another alignment done this morning, so should be ready to rock for tomorrow.

So a little update from the track outing today. Car ran as expected for the weather, was a little hot with some high DA, so I knew It was less than ideal out. Was hoping to knock off a low 11 on motor, just no way to do it. I ran my QTP's out back, which are 27" tall, and a little less wide then my normal slick, ran out of time to swap out yesterday. Best '60 was a 1.61, and best time 11.51. After that, track prep was going away and temps climbed. Tried bringing the two step down more, just was getting worse and worse with spinning. Overall I'm really happy car went straight, and everything held up. Now its time for boost though.

Teaser pic from earlier. Waiting for air filters to come in tomorrow, so I can be 100% sure on turbo position before welding to the mid pipe connection. i Just have to throw on the intercooler, injectors, plugs and boost controller, then tune. Gonna do a final weigh in of the car, hoping it's sitting around 3600. I decided to do the kit with the stock k member, so when I do the BMR unit I know everything will fit, and can always go back if need be.
