Girlfriend goes into post office to drop off two letters, comes back out to this:

View attachment 176015

Post office won’t review video unless police and insurance are called.

I swear I want to smash the drivers head open with my splitter axe. So fucking pissed off. Seriously, the person that does this kind of shit deserves to get their ass beat, IDGAF who they are.

GODDAMN IT!!!!!!
So, that’s not all the damage. Got the wheel and the fender above it. The fender panel and door panel are pushed in as well.

I swear I want to put a giant padlock in a sock and beat the ever-living shit out of this asshole.

Wouldn't it be under comprehensive? I have $0 comp deductible which I've used several times on multiple vehicles. Insurance doesn't (or shouldn't) increase when filing a comp claim.
Depends on the insurance. Mine would count that as a collision, which isn't covered under comprehensive. And because we don't know who the other person is, it would go under uninsured motorists.

Property Taxes. Fucking property taxes. Why the fuck does DuPage do an installment in June, then another in September? Why not every six months?
Yup, same in Lake County. I paid in June and just paid again.

I don't get that mentality... Okay, let's say you save the same amount every month to cover what you "think" it will be, since we're always getting fucked. But then you have to dump it out at irregular intervals, making the hit to your account worse, especially after just a three month period. Make it every six months, so you can easily forecast how much you're going to need to save and then you can recover from it.

I fucking hate this state, and yes, I have begun to actively look at other places to go. Near my dad in KY or TN is first, then southwest is second, for the temperate climate 365. Third would probably be Florida, but the insurance games the major providers are playing right now is bullshit.

I know we have a property tax thread and I have stayed out of it because of my anger over paying to a cushy pension for people when I have to stretch to pay for my own as well as paying for schools I don't use, but...
Paying for pensions that would have been fully funded had the State not dipped their greedy palms into....and now we are just using a 5 gallon bucket to try and clear a tsunami.

OK so the buns were going to expire in less than a week (you bought them) and are surprised they have mold after the expire date? Am I missing something?
That's a lot of mold for just two days after the "best by" date. I've had other brands go more than a week past their date and not have a spec on them. Keeping them in the fridge reduces the mold growth rate.

SpeedSpeak2me SpeedSpeak2me complaining about expired buns being moldy

Bernie Sanders Jewish GIF by CBS News
If they were like a week over, fine. The mold started well before the expiration date. Unfortunately it's not the first time with this brand. They probably don't get as much moisture out of the dough as others, so they mold up quicker. Will have to see if Costco has another brand to select from.

Birds and squirrels get to enjoy the ones I tossed.
