bought some luggage, b360nt givi monolock.

i wanted something that could fit my full faced helmet or fit a laptop flat. my large hjc helmet actually has similar overall size to a 16" macbook pro, but the curves certainly change the world to the point where many a case that fit a helmet would not a laptop.

it was hard trying to figure out what would work, due to the measurement and shape of luggage provided. also most videos online didn't show much going in to them. i figured if i saw someone put a full faced helmet in sideways in the middle, i should have enough space though. so this is probably larger than i needed, but given the shape, i don't think i coulda got away with much smaller either.

every once in a while i fantasize about quitting my job or taking a long time off just to go ride around thailand, probably go to malaysia then too, which seems catastrophic for career and income potential though so i won't really do that. as long as i could plan out a route where i could expect reliable internet though, and slot in when i'd be working at night vs. traveling and sleeping during the day though, it seems like i could get away with a long/slow road trip while working.

i wanted to avoid having to wear a backpack if i go anywhere long, although i typically don't leave the island except to go to a town 1.5h away for government stuff (not recently) or to fly out, where i go by car with real luggage. a nice thing about my airport is i believe there's no cost for leaving a car or bike there for an indefinite period of time. if i smashed my empty backpack in somewhere, i could actually probably get away with packing for short day/weekend trips from my airport, but that's about it.

as it. sits now, instead of wearing no helmet for most of my journeys on the island, i'll wear my 3/4 unless i go somewhere i sweat a lot, then i'll wear the 3/4 to it and pack it away in hear to avoid getting it full of post gym or muay thai sweat.

Seems EZ enough, top g bolt
Bottom G bolt hold on caliper
Pins remove pads.

I pull the bag off and SMFH
Caliper held on by the axle.

Thus, the Dealer picked it up this morning.

Isn't there a way to get the pads out through the top of the caliper?

Yes, screw driver method
Push pistons back and release.
Even my wrench from Illinois said HUGE PIA, easier yanking the tire.

Not worth my aggravation.
They grabbed, they will fix it and I'll pay

Have them drop it on by 1quick’s broke dick motorcycle repair, I forgot to put the wheel spacer in about 2 months ago and bent the abs ring on the rear, the bike hates that and won’t run the turn signals, traction control, wheelie control, or cruise control without a perfect reading on that abs ring, so I finally broke down and bought the ring and a new sensor just in case, it was like 400 bucks, fucking bmw’s and the expensive ass parts but she’s back now with no check abs/traction system lights, threw on a new sprocket and cush drive while I was at it
