yeah I just looked at a bunch of live photos of the kid riding his bike and at BJJ, and all were 3ish seconds AND can still be used as a legit picture for whatever you want to do with it, better than just grabbing a frame from a video

but live image is both a short vid and a high quality image...best of both worlds

If you take a pic of your kid doing something funny AF, isn't it nice to have a 2-3 second clip instead of a still image? I like it, but I get it's all personal preference.

I'm DED lmao live photo is great for pics of kids, and I've never had an issue with the quality. As mentioned in the group thread we blew up a live photo to a ~5'x3' pic in his room and the quality is great. when I email a live photo from my phone it defaults to JPG? Just tested this
