May seem kinda silly and I know more personal preference, but just curious what you guys like to have your tire pressure set at? I like to set mine at about 32 psi cold.

So I was looking at the route to Starved Rock from Dicks and the route goes pretty much past @SpeedSpeak2me and my houses. But just like a 90’s Aerosmith song “I don’t want to miss a thing” so I’m still going to Dicks to meet up with everyone and caravan the whole way!

One of my buddies might be joining us for the first leg to Starved Rock. Just curious any idea on head count at this point?

So sounds like the header is rubbing on the cross member. It was a tight fit when I originally installed them but must have gotten re-situated when the pulled the exhaust for the clutch. Anyway it’s a little annoying but not gonna stop me from going on the cruise. I tried to pry it back a little...

Tried to figure out where the vibration/rubbing noise is coming from seemed to start after the clutch was installed. I had it up in ramps and the hood open when I hit the header with my hand I could hear it up top somewhere. Had my neighbor come over to listen and determined it was from a hood...

Thanks for the info, my dad has used it but again I think he had smaller chips. I have never used this before so it would be an adventure, I am up to try it though. Gonna be up to @KyaLorne since it’s her vehicle.

You mentioned this a couple of times. But that’s not really fixing the issue or is this something else I’m not aware of? Sure a bug shield will help protect rock chips but it’s still gonna have to be repaired.

I had been contemplating Dr Colorchip, but unsure if this was too big of an area. The website describes just smaller rock chips and scratches. Any experience using it on something of this size? It not worth even trying?

It’s an aluminum hood? It’s a 2016 Exploder. I understand it’s only gonna get worse that’s why we’re trying to get after it

@KyaLorne has some paint chips on the lip of her hood. Some small bubbling but no rust is visible. It is larger than the average rock chip but don’t really want to paint and blend the hood. Looking for some suggestions on larger paint chip kits or repairs. Let us know your thoughts!
