Good to know. Haven't had the pleasure of tearing down a PSI gen 3/4 yet.... Glad we went back to PSI. The contracts with EDI and Origin were fucking nightmares.

I know, I assumed the new PSI 3/4s were carrying the same style head gasket. The Origin/BPE 6.2s were/are.

I dont have any other pics. But the new gasket for this style is literally stamped marine. guess the gen 3/4 aren’t.

Put a good oil pump on it like a Meiling and change the barbell out to metal o-ring one and block off the bypass in the pan.

Psi getting them with marine head gaskets then from GM? Or the gen 3/4 different? The Gen2s for sure had marine gaskets And a lot of PSI branded parts. Haven’t messed with the “LS"“ too much besides a few o2s and what not. The 4.3s and 2.5s have been eating the fuck out of fans.

PSI is Power Solutions International. They are limited to 3500 RPM because they are industrial engines. They are found in forklifts, tree chippers, gen sets etc etc. They take a GM crate engine and slap on low dollar Chinese exhaust manifolds, coils and what not. Typically come with cheaper...
