I'm calling the cops if someone serves this to me.

Home Run Inn is our favorite frozen pizza. Signature Select from Jewel is surprisingly really good too. Jack's is the fallback option if the above two choices are not available.

I need to try Nemec Brothers too. It's close enough that I have no excuse not to try it.

Jets is pretty good. I had Jets pizza up in Milwaukee a couple weeks ago when I was there for a bachelor party weekend. I was pleasantly surprised for a corporate chain pizza place. Also, I tried Signature Select frozen pizza for the first time last week when I was staying in an Airbnb in...

There's a New Jersey style pizza place on Roosevelt in Glen called Pie Life that I keep wanting to check out. It has really good ratings in Yelp and Google. It looks like a solid spot to get a slice.

I've been to the Bricks location in Naperville off of Freedom Drive. That place is really good for coal fired pizza. There is one on Highland also, but I haven't tried that one. I generally end up at the Patio if I'm going that into that shopping center for food.

Yeah I need to drive for good pizza, which usually defeats the purpose of having pizza for dinner. When I'm ordering pizza it's because I'm tired, don't feel like cooking, short on time or a combination of the 3 lol. Old Town Pizza near Roosevelt and Highland in the strip mall by AutoZone isn't...

Gianorio's is pretty close to me, so I go there out of convenience. It reminds me of Palermo's in Oak Lawn, which is what I grew up on. The sauce isn't quite as sweet but the crust is similar. I'm south of Roosevelt, near Yorktown Mall, so I generally don't feel like driving to St. Charles Rd...

My issue is how early some of the local pizza places close. Gianorio's in Lombard is my usual go to, but they close at 8 pm, even on weekends. They stop taking orders around 7:30 and close at 8 PM sharp. Post COVID, it's harder to find late night food spots.

There is a New Jersey style pizza place near me in Glen Ellyn that I've been meaning to try. I have no idea how New Jersey style compares to NY style.

Update...I couldn't wait to eat pizza. Home Run Inn classic crust sausage is in the oven.

My parents live in that area so I'll occasionally go there for dinner with them. All of the food beyond their pizza is pretty solid. Good spot in the south suburbs where there otherwise aren't a lot of great restaurants.

Pretty sure Palermo's on 95th still uses the paper bags.

I know there is a Buddyz Pizza location somewhere in the Fort Myers area. Same owners as the ones in Mundelein and McHenry.

I haven't eaten a lot of pizza in Michigan, but that's spot on. A played a lot of hockey tournaments around Kalamazoo, Holland, and Detroit growing up. We would usually go out for pizza after the Saturday games and it always reminded me of cheap chain restaurant pizza, even if it was a local place.
