Got ‘em here on Friday. Decals removed from the GMC. Both drive great, I ran a tank of fuel through the ford over a few days. Just started driving the GMC now.
I repeatedly bury the gauge at 40 and then remember I still haven’t changed the plastic charge pipe on this truck yet and my asshole grabs the leather @camarothatcould
Couple cool trucks headed my way for this plowing season. Both coming out of NW Nevada right at the California border.
2001 F-250 with a 6.8 V-10 and a 2001 GMC 2500HD 6.0. Ford came from Fish and wildlife, GMC was NV DOT.
Looking like shipping is going to be around $3,000 for the pair, but...
I'll check that out. My barn cats usually take care of the majority of the mice, but, right around this time of year it gets out of hand. Plus, once they make it into the house its free reign.
Get REPEL-X or Pyranha fly spray. It's for horses, but when shits bad bad, like Northwoods in the spring/summer bad, it's the only thing that'll cut it.
This year has been a fucking sampler platter of bugs.
First it was the stink bugs.
Then came the japanese beetles
Then the flies. The God Forsaken flies....
Then the flies died down, and the ants arrived.
Then the box elder bugs swarmed the corner of the house.
And they're still there...
Three of my high school friends still have their stupid low mile cars.
Buddy with the M3, another buddy has an EVO IX MR SSL with 30k on it currently.
And another has his EVO RS ( the crank window, radio delete, etc one) with under 10k miles.
My friend from high school has an '06 ZCP 6-Speed in Interlagos Blue and I think it's just the most perfect car ever. I know he bought it in '08 with under 5,000 miles on it and it's still under 40,000 miles.
Any experience with these 3.0’s? My tuner said to “stay away” but couldn’t elaborate. They’ve come across as a pretty reliable engine to me from what I’ve seen. He’s also the type of person where if it isn’t a BMW or sprinter van it’s junk
