Yeah it is great time wise and for convenience. I can fly out to Wyoming or Missouri in the morning and still be home in time for dinner.

Work.

Main difference is time. No TSA. And with most FBO/jet centers you pull up into a parking spot within spitting distance of the lobby, and you can be wheels-up in a couple minutes of parking your car, not hours. Some FBOs the rental is on the ramp when you taxi in and you legit need to watch...
