The VTOL makes sense because of the lack of internal weapons bay storage space. What about the the carrier and AF versions?

Is the F-35 going to have all those hard points on the wings? One of the knocks against the F22 is that it can only carry like 8 or less total A2A missiles...but, it's because external hard points degrade stealth significantly...

Figured I'd bump this thread with some 'Murica aviation love... Some SVTOL shots of the F35; the only airframe in the F35 range that is worth a damn, but also the main reason the F35 is complete garbage.

I'm sure some of it goes back to the F-35, and it's supposed to, sort of, fill the role the A-10 is currently in. Trying to cover their ass for the boondoggle that is the F-35 program. Jack of no trades and a master of no trades. It's going to be such horseshit.
