If he does go through with replacing what is needed to replace is there a Intake Manifold that people use instead of the OEM plastic one, that wont piss off the ecu?

Wow thanks for the information, I will relay this to him and see what he wants to do, and maybe i can get better information on what actually failed with the motor. Since he is not much of a gear head, so he doesnt know "exactly" what is wrong. Ill report back if I find out anything else...

Frank, the car fixed itself. The heat shield fell off the car as i was tuning the car at Ericks. Neons are awesome they fix themselves!! :lol:
