I threw down some grass seed along the edge of the road where delivery drivers always seem to park and leave ruts. It's a lost cause but the mud and ruts drive me crazy.

Today I finalized how the alternator is going to be mounted. I used a mix of old alternator bracket parts to make something that works and I cut out a piece of aluminum plate to brace the alternator to the motor plate. I ordered some spacers and hardware from McMaster Carr for the support bracket.

Looks good with the tint. I don't really like the spare delete, but I would probably do the same living here in the Chicago area. No need to tempt thieves even if it's locked down.

I'll be doing my first cut of the season on Saturday. The dandelions are starting to pop up too in a few places, so I'll have to take care of that. Dandelions are an uphill battle because my neighbors do nothing to take care of their lawns other than call a service to cut it weekly.

This is very common on Ford's with aluminum hoods. I remember this started back in 2005 on the S197 Mustangs. There was a cleanliness issue or paint prep issue that led to bubbling under the front lip of the hood until it eventually spread to the outside and starts flaking as the bubbles get hit...

I like that you bead blasted the outer surfaces of that billet block to make it look like cast. PSJ won't know what hit him when he lines up next to this promod.
