Really dig buells, just bought a xb12x last week, far from fast, but a fun bike for what it is. Simple, light. . torquey.

They just have a character about them that's hard to explain, kind of like the Triumph nakeds.

Yup,you said that very well "They just have a character about them that's hard to explain" i just finally took the plunge into the buell world.

Glad i did,its a very fun motorcycle. We have to get the buell's together and do some riding this summer!! :riski:

Sick bike man, I want an 1125R in the worst way. Probably will be my next toy, The 08's with the matte blue frame and black plastics are pure sex.

thanks

I did try to get a "R" i wanted the extra wind protection on the front of bike, but was unable to find a low mile "R".Came across this "CR" and couldnt pass up.Its a very fun street bike.

You wouldnt be "let down" if you did buy one.But the 08 "R" had alot recalls and issues,i would go with a 09.

At the time buell introduced this new designed engine and all the bugs werent worked out till 09. Probably more bugs worked out for 2010,but harley saw otherwise!!

but yea DO IT!!!!

Very interesting name. please explain?

Iam toying with "Dark Knight"? I need to do a poll soon. haha

The legend is that "Witch Beulah" went mad and killed her kids. She hung them near a bridge on Baxter road out here south of Rockford. Its said that if you stop your car on the bridge it won't start again until you push it off. Some have claimed to see and hear particularly unerving things in the area too. (lights, screams, laughing, growling, etc...)

Personally, it was a place to take your girlfriend when you were 17 to scare her panties off! :pedobear:

"Witch Beulah" is also a Rockford based death metal band.

Always loved the buell bikes. Seemed like an interesting mix of things I would want without a lot of flash.

Too bad my uncle said he would come down and kill me first if I ever bought a bike.

your uncle is right to not want you to have one, seems every year motorcycle accidents go up.People in cars just dont pay attention to bikers.

I try my best to steer from busy streets and try to be aware of my area. But still its more dangerous now a days to ride a motorcycle then it was in the past.

But the feeling of riding is like no other, for those 10 seconds or less,i'am free.:hsughlol:

owned an 04 xb12r firebolt a few years ago. wish I never sold it. I also read about the 08 1125r having a fuel overheating issue. I believe buell added a heatshield between the pipes and gas tank to resolve the problem. enjoy the low end torque which no other sport bike has!

yea the 08's were a big mess, but it was a new engine introduced,so theres always bugs when starting something new.By 09 everything was worked out and more bugs popped up.haha

My CR was to be introduced as a new model for the buell line up and carrying over the same rotax v twin, also the "CR" has a longer swing arm and better gearing then the "R" version.

I'am happy with the bike so far,its loud and rowdy!! Yea its a torque monster, fuunnnn.

thanks

Cool, thanks for the info. It seems like on used market the 08 and 09's are about the same price. I would have to go all black then or I like the white and blue. That blue and black was an 08 only anniversary color and looked badass.
