For whatever reason the shell across from hooters in crystal lake is slow as shit to raise their prices so regular was $3.35 while everywhere else in town was $3.55

I'm cool with it.

I will remember this when I drive to Crystal Lake on Monday, I hope it doesn't change soon.

I put some 83 in my DD today. $20 and I got just a hair over 5gals.
Fucking gas prices piss me the fuck off. They keep jacking up the price of this shit saying they are in shortage. Bullshit, it's the only way they can afford to give out multiple $6,000,000 bonuses a year.

It's actually a seller's market. Libya and Egypt sell to China and third world countries. Now they are in competition to buy from who we buy from. It's not a shortage per se...it's supply and demand. The demand is higher from the same people we buy from. Business 101...if demand is high, with little to no competition...you raise your prices.

In the long run, it's a good thing for the US...level's the playing field with China and India. If Libya goes democracy, we start to buy from them again (roumored to have largest cache of oil in the mid-east)...and prices drop.

We've been trying to oust Kadafji for something like 30 years because of this. Maybe we finally suceeded?

f that im still driving my v8 car anyway. my f-body gets about 16mpg, thats about $2500 a year in gas if I drive my average of 10k miles a year at $3.80 a gal. if I drove a car that got 26mpg and gas and paid $3.50 for reg thats $1,300 a year. so I save $100 a month to drive a civic over a camaro... and since I no longer have cars as a hobbie I'd probably just end up spending that money on something else anyway to keep the boredom off.
