You don't have to :nutz: 3800's to know that if you are going for speed (sounds as if he is, saying he will be faster then GTO's) then building a 98 Silverado isn't the best platform. Hell its going to take alot just to get it as fast as the GTP was.

better watch out b/c I'm not to far from knocking on your little 3800's door door ;)

There's plenty of room for turbos under that hood and for the asking price he should have a nice chunk for change for mods. Look at Bill's truck. That thing would eat your cars.

Plenty of room of turbos under a Yaris also. I'm just saying if you are going for speed, or speed vs dollar I don't believe this is the car. Im sure this build would be interesting but I wouldn't be surprised if Bob regretted selling the GTP.

#1. I didn't buy either of those cars for speed.
#2. Who is Bill?

Because he had it pretty well modded up. I know its different but building up a pickup truck does not sound like the most efficient way of doing things. Not to mention he has one of those trucks already for plowing.
Doing it because yes its different and I hate being like everyone else. For what I want to do with the truck its going to be an all around fun and cheap build. Like i said ive always wanted to build one of these trucks since my old man had 98 extended cab that was prettybad ass. He bought it new.

or get a 94 or below :dunno: They are the same bodies, just the interior (mainly dash and cluster) are a little different. But Dakota Digital sells digital dashes that help clean up the look.

Here was my first truck... don't mind the color, it was pimp :sools:

Im just going to swap the bodies between the 2 trucks fuck it. My white 95 z71's body is cleaner than the 98 that im going to get. Everyone will think im a dumb ass that lowered a 4x4 lol. I like the 95+ interior. Thanls to HilRod for the swapping bodies idea.

I seen a fast Silverado tear up the streets a few years ago. It was lowered on 22's, bags in the rear, intake, cam, converter, and nitrous. Went low 11's. It was an extended cab too. No one expected it.

My buddy had one I did for for him a few years back. It was 03 extended cab blue with flames on it. Truck ran REAL good....and it was on 33" mud tires. Nothing like leaving on spray in 4wd and carrying the left front 33"....Lol. Hell..I hear it might be back out soon.
