Yea I agree. That's what led us to the civic we bought. It was locally owned and all the service records were from the same dealer it was bought from and traded in to.

Our work van that I got hit in back a few months ago had a clean carfax. The insurance company informed us that it had been in 2 other major accidents prior to mine.

I like carfax cuz it says owner history and where the car was located, but I don't trust it for accident history.

Don't think that worth the $40. Its nice if you have a hook up on them though.

The owner stopped in to see the Jeep for the first time since it was wrecked and he almost cried because it looked so good so far.

I got the powersteering hose yesterday and installed that and fired this bitch up to bleed the air out of the cooling system and the powersteering system.

I also finally got the dash today and I might put that back together on Monday.....Just waiting for the wheels to come in

I will get some pics tomorrow..

Dash is back in, Jeep runs, just need the wheels that will be here this week.

The detail kid is going to clean the carpet and seats really good before the seats are reinstalled, needs to go out for a wheel alignment and a trip to the dealer to clear codes. That is about it!

I invite any of you auto repair specialist to come look at my work and tell me where it looks messed up. Since you all seem to be the experts

The Jeep has been at the dealer for 5 days now..... We brought it there to clear the air bag light, check engine light, and a wheel alignment. They called up to say it done and I go to the dealer to pick it up and the alignment was off, tire light turned on while driving and it now had a little creaking noise in the front end that was not there before. They charged us almost $1000 dollars for that and they claim that they replaced some module. This is the same dealer that we had the parts issues with.

The deal with the tire light it that it will be fine after the dealer re flashes the computer then all 4 tires will go from the proper air pressure to 0 at once.

I brought it right back to them and they fixed the little issues and they called at 4:30. They said that the AC compressor was hanging on by a thread and I laughed my ass off when I heard that because it is just not possible. If that was true then the belt would have been squeaking or something would have been obvious. I pick it up and they alignment was a little better, low tire light came back on lol, and they refuse to fix the noise in the front end.

We will never be using the dealer again

yes it sound like a bushing noise! I will double check all that shit on the front end probably tomorrow with the truck at ride height and see what going on. It sounds just like when the front strut mounts took a shit on the GXP.
