Have wizaired - soon to get 3" catted Wbody store dp.

1) Will I need an o2 extension?
2) What plugs should I run with the DP and Wizaired?
3) I will soon get a 180 stat and likely a 3.6 pulley would my plug choice change?
4) Could I do a 3.5 with these mods? (I don't have a scanner)

You don't need an extension for the 02 sensor for a dp, I'd suggest autolite 104's gapped at .056, and go no smaller on the pulley size than the 3.6 until you find a way of scanning the car.

Crappy Update

Got the TR6s in. Only other mod is a intake. My mileage went from 22MPG to 18 or below. I tried a few tanks being way easier on the throttle and still only in the 18s. My cold idle seems off but once warm it is fine.

Could the plugs be the culprit? The gap was .057 - would a different gap help?

The downpipe I got has a trashed flex. Anyone selling a 3" flex? How much will it be to get it welded in? pm me a price if you are interested in welding it for me. I'm in McHenry.

I have always been a autolite :nutz: Tried the ngk plugs for a dyno session once and ended up just wasting money. Got home switched to AL and was able to run a bit more timing and noticed less kr from heat soak. Everyones experience is different though. I had my flex replaced recently...think it was like a $100 or something. zzp for flex pieces though.

I like the NGK plugs better, but some seem to like the autolites better, as they only last 6k - 8k, you can try them both, and see which you like better........ And I'd buy a set of Ebay headers over a 3" DP, the cost is pretty similar these days, but the gains of headers are much better than a DP....... just my.02

They really only last that long? I've had mine in for a whole lot longer than that
