What are you gonna be doing?

Something completely different.
I've been in sales for the past 15 years. It CAN be good money when it's good...and in fact right now is an excellent time to get into sales. I could probably pull in 100K+ again. BUT, I don't want to be stuck again w/o finding a job for 2+ years.
So this company is taking a chance on me, and I will be doing maintanance and engineering on an assembly line. The starting pay is very generous considering my professional experience with it, and down the road with the right education and this experience it will be a whole new career path. Hopefully with a bit more consistancy.
My income per year has eroded since 2004, and I went from a very comfortable position to an almost unbearable one...in 2004 alone I was $40K down from the previous few years!
This is a great opportunity with a company trying to re-establish quality USA manufaturing, and has high-profile investors. Looks to be a winner.
