So Fridsy night (2:20 am) I got pulled over for speeding (66 in a 40). I was given a ticket with a check in "please mail in envelope" not "appear for court". I am pretty positive that I'm infact not eligible for traffic school as Ive already did both the 4 and 8 hr. classes within the last year. Basically am I prettyich screwed, and should get a traffic lawyer? I can't afford a suspended license, and yes I need to slow down. :(

I live on the Southside of Chicago so if hr consensus is traffic lawyer, and has input on one please do let me know.

Thanks
-Nick

Thats all I got. Good luck though.

i always send it in, no matter what it says

always pick online traffic school too

never had any problems

3 speeding tickets a year for the past 12 years, we all good

Gotta agree with skeez, if they didn't tell you you have to go to court, mail it in! If they want you there they'll tell you. I got probably 7 tickets under 21 and never got my license suspended, never got traffic school and never had to hire a lawyer either. Just gotta work the system.

I tried this method once, and they kept the extra money i sent for traffic school and i got the conviction.

Were you not eligible for traffic school by having taken both classes? or having taken only one class and still under "supervision"? Or did you get your license suspended. I'm not so much concerned about getting the conviction as it is losing my license especially for just trying to "wing" it and take a chance.

Mandatory court is over 30. If you took the classes and didn't make a moving violation within the probation those other tickets should have been removed off your record. How long has it's been since your last ticket

I'm not too certain but the most recent traffic school class that I went to was in the end of August (8hr). :ugh:
