A bunch of little things on the bike. HIDs, speedo healer, exhaust wrap, new undertail, and probably new slip-ons because California is going to hate how loud it is now. It's going to be due for regular maintanence soon here too.

Gonna get some more gear.
Hopefully do the Superbike School at Laguna Seca on an S1000 RR.
Mostly Rider mod. Would be nice to hit 10s on the bike with current mods and also rock some canyons.

No desire to make it faster though, plenty happy as it is.

I'm planning to use my tax return money to do some upkeep/upgrades this year.
Upgrades:
New struts (tokico d-specs probably)
Lowering springs
Roll rear fenders
Possibly group-n motor mounts

Upkeep:
Sounds like I need to adjust some valve lash on my passenger side head.
Fix my oil cooler oil leak. Hopefully it's just a gasket.

7.5 to 8.5 axle swap from a 98+ 2wd s10
Switching from drop blocks to 3" drop leaf springs
Install a rear sway bar
Getting rid of drop springs for stock springs and doing 2" drop spindles instead
Freshening up steering components and bushings

Rebuilding the 4l60e
350 swap

Should have the first 5 done by spring, the last 2 might take a bit longer.

I need to get my car up on stands and drop the trans soon. Lots of cleaning to do under there too after blowing the trans lines off twice. :picard:

Mental note, ORDER BRAIDED TRANS LINES.

Trans fluid is highly flammable and turbo cars have plenty of hot parts. The $100 in lines and fittings is way better than the alternative.

A couple years back at a NMRA race in Bradenton Fl. I saw Conrad Scary pass us at just before half track with the whole inside of the car on fire. The converter blew and sprayed trans fluid every where. He stood in the pits and his face started to fall off his head (he forgot to put his visor down). Scary shit.

That right there is why I decided to put a fire suppression system in my car too.

That shit is worth it. Anyone that skimps on safety equipment is a moron. You obviously value your life.

A friend of mine's car set on fire a few years back and the fire system helped him get away without injury. Basically the same thing happened. It was an open wheel car and the mfg had put rubber lines to the oil cooler. One of the lines broke and fluid leaked on the header and caught fire. The whole rear caught on fire and burned the car up pretty good. It was a pricey example (Carbon body and floor) as to why you should use braided lines.
