What are your 2011 Car or bike goals and plans?

The cam is some thing I want to do. Will be about $1000 and that is fine. Although right now I am lazy and don't want to work in the cold garage. haha

What I am trying to talk myself out of is spending $5000 on internals and labor for the short block. And another $4000 on a th400. haha

I’d think with the turbo update, cam, and suspension you’d be knocking on 8’s. Tell Shaun to clean out his garage lol!

I wouldn't think any NA engine would make much power with exhaust and no tune. Let's see that same car with a tune....

I thought I had seen much larger numbers somewhere for LT's on a G8. Maybe the tuning makes that much of a difference. I really don't want the tune adjusted on it until the warranty is up. If I'm only going to pick up 3whp without a tune, it's not worth spending $1k+ on exhaust.

I always find it hard to believe a companies power claims. Always seems to be some tomfoolery. I do however believe a k&n panel filter will give me 12hp and 8ft-lbs.

These numbers were done by the owner of the car just to get a idea before he got a tune.

Final results: w/tune, lt's, hfc's, cai, catback,hsrk

What's the point? I'd think headers would be enough to have them say no if it was drivetrain related.

I'd love to hear from someone that has been through the whole Mangusson Act deal and how long it took to have a decision made by whomever decides if your warranty would be honored.

I think they would have to prove that the LT's and CAI caused the warranty issue. It'd be interesting to see how the scenario plays out.

Or just send it in to jalopnik and they'll take care of it.
