I'll have to look him up if julian doesn't show up

yeah I hate scotchlocks... though I hate soldered wires that arent covered in electrical tape either... Circuit City installed the remote that was in my Grand Prix (previous owner had it done) all the wires were cut/soldered under the dash, but weren't protected in any way... FAIL

You get a happy ending too? :hs:

You got that right!

would be nice if he could come on and post from time to time. i sent him a message about becoming a bigger part of the site. no response :dunno:

The guy is really busy, working 7 days a week. I know why he isn't on the site, no time. I don't blame any vendor that cannot get on here all the time, especially now. Holiday shopping, you have a business to run, family to spend time with, snow to shovel, etc... There is a reason why they have business phones and emails, use them! Don't expect them to respond to your posts or pms (you can take that either way because it applies, trust me) ever 30 seconds.

That is ludacris! If that is the case you might as well expect them to come over to your house and shake it for you when you are done taking a leak.

Cut these people some slack, they aren't Amazon, these are small businesses with only so many hours in the day.

AND MOOK, yes I agree I would like to see him sponsor too...

Flip side, if he has gotten a lot of business from this site, wouldnt you want to keep communication and get more?

:ugh: i'm not asking for the customer service of a big business but with people talking about how great he is and said people ALL coming from one site...popping on for more than once a year can only be BETTER for business.

I am talking vendors in general and I don't know there sales. As for Matt I have fed him a lot of business that has nothing to do with this site so I know why he is busy right now. He has done 5-6 by my recommendation in the last 2 weeks.

(When I talk to him next, I will ask him to pop on and reply to your sponsorship inquiry. Should be this week as he is doing another install this week.)

I agree, but if you are always busy. . . And yes I know you make time. I get it I get it... Where do you find the time? We all don't have jobs where we can be on here all the time. I am taking a break from my never ending to do list to be on here today, but honestly I barely get on here when I am not at work. And work has been busy so I really should not be getting on at work. lol

Mine are blanket statements for all vendors. People always get their panties in a bunch when they don't get replies on boards or PMs right away. Use their channels to communicate. I know WBodyStore has had issues with this and since I know Mike K I email him links from time to time to help him find them. But if I did not who knows if those people would have heard back.

Go to the source, don't beat around the bush. Unless there is a vagina inside, then game on!

Hi guys hi mook lol man i how is everyone sorry to start of with you on a bad foot mook. I have more remote starts than i can handle remote starts for me im not really looking to invest any money in to behonest with you because of my rep for these things i obtain more calls than i can handle at times lol. I 2 mechanic shops that give me 4 a week usually and 4 a week from my shop that i am a part owner in bringing me to 6 to 10 a week on the average. I dont have another installer im doing them all my self and that is the smaller part of my business. I have another hang up about people and remote starts they tend to go the cheapest route whether or not its the proper route. To haggle with people over making 10 more dollars to do the job right is not worth it i have people who come into my shop and tell me oh i can get this done for 30 cheaper over here i let them go, I have besides the remote starts my main busines is custom home low voltage and commercial low voltage which i can do one job in 3 days on a house which pays me as much as 20 remote starts that take me 25 hours to do which breaks down of 4 days worth of appointments and full 8 hour days. Where as the low voltage job i work 6 hours each day for 3 days and im not in the cold and busting my balls under a dash. However remote starts do help pay the bils and thats why i offer that service. I am not sure how much sponsorship but with the already low profit margin i couldnt justify paying for than a few hundred dollars to advertise here. As well not to say i dont like this forum because i think this website is way better than chitownracings website. I was orginially told to register to be the car audio security guy on the website so i was basicaly brought on here by persons who were looking for profressional installation services. I grew to like the community and ive stuck around and i dont have hardly anytime to browse around the site. Im busting my but all day right now lots of things to pay stuff for my kids and family im just on hustle mode as i have no help hard to find that qualified business partner to help me grow beyond where i am.
