fuck gt all stars.

and gtr for the win.

no shit, my plan is as follows...
Beat the miata race in b spec to get Furai concept...check
Use that car to beat like the wind in a spec...working on it...you can kill the other cars in the corners, but they will get you on the straights. Just let them pass you on the first 4 laps. You have to block the cars on the last lap, and just hope they don't spin you out when they slam into the back of you.
Use the miniolta you win for beating like the wind in a spec to beat gt allstars

I will do it...but won't be playing again until after xmas :(

bspec is such a waste of time tho. ugh.

no shit, i hate it so much

it's easy to get to the miata race though, doesn't take long at all, and you should have the cars or atleast the money to get good enough cars to just get the lead early and hit maintain pace and just sit back, browse the web, rub one out...w/e you like doing for the rest of the 6 laps for each race

Everyone including me ran 7+ min time on this race. Those screenshots are not from the track I was talking about. Id like to see race car civic win on this event. Like I said. They just pull effortlessly away from my viper on the straights.

Ok so I turned on the newb assists (was previously racing with all off) on the 800HP Z06 and now it is much easier. I got the gold. But this time the computer cars ran 6.40+ before when I raced my stock evo they did 7+ min... what gives? Does the computer adjust how fast they go based on how fast you are going?

interesting

So, there's a reason the trailer for the US version of the Gran Turismo Academy looked so slick: the inaugural American leg of the competition is being turned into a reality television series.

The Academy has been running in PAL territories for a while now, giving the best Gran Turismo 5 drivers the chance to earn a spot on a real racing team. Being the first time the event will be held for Americans, though, means it must naturally be bigger.

Starting in March, film crews will track the progress of the finalists in the competition, with a series of shows to be broadcast on the Speed Network later next year.

If you're wondering where the money has come from to warrant this becoming a television series, it will serve as a giant advertisement for not only the game and PlayStation 3, but long-time Gran Turismo commercial partners Nissan as well, who will be supplying all the vehicles used in the show.

Woo! beat the historic cup in expert finally. It is possible w/ a race modded Z28, but you definitely need super softs, youve gotta drive the car on the absolute limit, and it is IMPERATIVE that keep restarting until the chaparral 2J and toyota 7 are as far back on the grid as possible. (behind you if you can get it). But if the chapparal starts any higher than 6th dont even bother.

By the last lap on deep forest I was having to drive the car on the limit AND keep checking my mirrors cuz i had both the 2J and toyota 7 right on my tail. monaco is a tad bit easier as its harder to overtake, so they tend to get caught up in traffic, but still, you want that 2J as far back as possible.

in the countach i had to dive bomb turn 1 to get the lead and hold on but as soon as the chapparal passed me i hit restart.
