Yeah, overall the episode was kind of lackluster. His Hodgkin's lymphoma has definitely taken a toll on his appearance. He doesn't look as strong/healthy as he has in the past. It sounds like it's gone into remission, but he looks totally different than in the first season.

I think it was just to really setup the season. I didn't think he would miss anything....


I just hope it's not a repeat of season 1 and 2 with sgt. Doakes but rather with Quinn.

Maybe she saw the house through a window in that room? I don't think deb will ever find out about dexters hobby. I'm more curious about that laid off cop seeing all that stabbing. If I had to guess I could see Dexter/lumen taking out chase and Quinn taking out that cop.

My question is if deb is pissed at Quinn where's she been? Obviously it wasn't a big deal that lumen was at her apartment.

I definitely see Peter Weller's character getting axed, maybe literally....by the end of the season. He knows way too much.

I understand they used the house next door. But they originally were going to use the room in that guy's house. The show even had all this build up that Deb/Quinn were going to catch them in the act at that guy's house. Then you find out they were in the house next door. The show made you believe they were in the guy's house, that's why I was asking what made them move the kill room.

The previews for next week make it seem like Dexter will be going after Quinn and he covered his tracks by using quinn's signature to take out that surveillance equipment. Maybe Dexter confronts Quinn and he spills his guts....either literally or figuratively.

2 more episodes left and I'm sure they'll be gripping. Dexter is one of the few shows that actually pulls off season finales perfectly.

The show is great at building suspense which is what that was. All they showed was lumen opening a door and saying "like this?"

Season finale last night! It was a good one that's for sure! I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet but the deb thing I thought was going to go a lot further. Glad it didn't!

I'm also sad for Dexter now....I thought he was gonna have somebody in his life that truly gets him.
