I love how everyone incorporates politics in to everything. Both businesses are there to make money and enhance profits. They both made mistakes that lead to the rise of the foriegn car. Ford has been releasing some good products. Though after owning an 06 F-150 and 08 Escape I would be hard pressed to buy another Ford.

have you driven a new buick lacrosse? i never thought i'd see the day when buick made a car worth a shit. this car was really nice inside and out. very surprised


ive owned cars from all of the big 3. i told myself i would never buy a chrysler, but i'm extremely happy with my jeep. being able to cruise comfortably on road then rip it up off road is a huge plus, on top of having smooth power and decent gas mileage.

i drive and work on a little bit of everything all day at work. every car maker has stupid designs that make you wonder what fucking genious came up with it.
im curious to see what problems these new ford powertrains will have. saying the new ecoboost never breaks is a stupid statement. they're new, and havent been in the hands of the negligent public long enough.
also, chances are the engine used in this test truck was specially built for this event with the very best stock parts.

it's not at all a "retarded speculation". this was a test done by the manufacture, so no one really knows what was done. i want to see this a few years down the road with a showroom stock truck with 40k miles of regular driving. that would be a fair and interesting test.

Apparently people missed my comment about picking between a Ford and GM truck.

Fords new Powerstroke is badass as well. GMs saving grace however is the Allison, duramax, ride quality, and overall truck. Nuff said.

It IS the best selling truck and has been for many years. It's not marketing, but how the numbers are presented. Ford doesn't give itself that title, the automotive press does.

i have been searching for number totals for a few minutes.. but cannot find them... but i am willign to bet... that when the sierra is combined with the silverados sales- aka thee same truck... their numbers pass up the fords...
