First off, I don't want to dent the savings...

...Just kidding.

So I'm looking for a new car possibly and I've got a couple questions.

1. Does anyone have access to carfax? I've found some potentials and I would like to know if someone could run the carfax for me.

2. If anyone knows any good deals on AWD vehicles, hit me up.

3. How worried are you/should I be about mileage? Found an '02 A4 but with 115k, and six digits kind of scare me.

Thanks for any input guys!

yeah I suppose I could have added that huh?

At first I was looking into Nissan Titans (2 of my uncles have them, love them and I really like them) when it came down to it, I drive WAY too much to drive 14mpg around. Have since then ditched that idea.
I've been looking for something that's 4dr I'm sick of a 2dr, stick or auto doesn't matter, AWD preferably, and right around 12k. Everything I've been scoping out has been for 9-11k. Saw an '04 S40 that I really like and that audi but I'm with you on the money pit dealio with it.

So Cliffs: AWD 4dr under 13k

If you are buying from a dealer they should be able to give you a current carfax free of charge. If they wont, Id walk out. But if you are seriously looking at cars you should think about buying a monthly subscription. I know they raised the prices on this so you might be better off using autocheck.

Ive seen WRX's with decent miles for reasonable prices. Im talking under 8K with miles under 80. Not bad if you ask me.

I think you should buy a GTP/Regal GS :io:

If you're not concerned with going fast and are looking for a decent car with awd check out the Suzuki sx4 crossover. Kinda ugly but it's a neat little micro hatch suv that you can get for pretty cheap and it has a 10 year/100k warranty. Comes in a manual or auto and has like 140hp which is enough to get it moving pretty good. I test drove one a few weeks ago

I never checked out Land Rover repair prices before. I didn't know they were bad.
My cousin has the smaller one and it's a piece of shit. It's needed all new wheel bearings, eats tires regardless of how frequent it gets an alignment and it's had a trans replacement. All of it cost a ton and it has like 70k miles on it :picard:

I think Land Rovers are consistently rated the worst reliable cars.

Maybe look into a Jeep Grand Cherokee, the Limiteds are pretty nice inside. Just don't get the V8 if your concerned with mpgs.

Grand Cherokee's are very nice IMO. Reliable and cheap to repair. I think the I6 is the better motor of the two and id get that if possible. That is if you arnt going to be towing or something.
