I had just recently picked these us and took them to 1 half day at the track. Tires still look like new and hooked very well!

They fit my 'new edge' mustang and fit a fox body as well.

I wouldn't judge these tires capabilities with my launching... Best I got was a 1.8.

I only used them for about 4 passes and bogged it each time. Sucks launching w/o boost...

these are basically slicks, but with little groves in the tread to be 'DOT'

I wouldn't judge them on that, it was more a curiosity thing.

I almost 'fear' that this would be too much tire for my truck? Even come spring I'll only be making maybe 300 to the wheels, I'd imagine I'd just bog to hell?

Never really thought about it... I thought if you 'dead hooked' with an auto without much power that my converter is too low to get out of the hole quickly?

I'll have to crunch some numbers on this

I'm going to try to make it out this sat or next weather permitting and see how I do with 275's on the back... If its horrid and these are still around, I may have to snag them.

on 245's I was cutting 2.1's with a vehicle with a like 70/30 weight distribution, so I'm just hoping for a 2.0 or better.

I just want to get a mid/high 14 second pass by the end of the year, don't care on what tire that happens.

Spring I want low 13's high 12's if I have to spray the hell out of the new motor.
