So I'm fed up with this car. Only thing stopping me from installing the turbo is the hesitation the car is having.

During idle, it'll misfire/hesitate every couple seconds and if I rev it to like 3k in neutral, it will hesitate like no other like there is something restricting it.

I have replaced Distributor, Cap & Rotor, all wires and plugs, coil, full tune-up. Now I'm thinking it's either the TPS or MAF. What do you guys think?

Haha I'm on NGK platinums changed them about 2000 miles ago. OE gap. I'm gonna ohm test all my injectors tomorrow and see how that goes. Also gonna OHM out the MAF and TPS to see if I can knock them out of the equation!

Theres a Supra by my house with the license plate, "POOPRA"

Ya I know there are 2 black ones around here with that plate. One's single and ones N/A. The single one I believe has POOPRA and the n/a one has P00PRA with zero's instead of "O"s

Now apearing in Hanover Park
Ohm'ing out a MAF will not do you any good as it is usualy a frequency sensor, First try and narrow it down to a cylinder, disconnect one fuel injector/Sparkplug wire (which-ever is easier to get to... just make sure to ground the wire so you don't carbon track your distributor cap) and see if it gets worse, If it gets worse on all 6 cylinders, then you have an issue that will affect all of them i.e. fuel pump, Maf, TPS... If you have on cylinder that it doesn't get worse when it isn't firing, that is where your problem is. Then you can start moving injectors, or doing other tests

^Good point. I'm gonna try that out too it might just be one or 2 cylinders.

EDIT: Just thought of it, I actually can't do that. To get to my plugs and wires, the TB has to be removed and that won't work out too well. Unless I can find an extra spark wire and just connect that in place and ground it while the actual wire is disconnected

And I'm pretty sure he knew I was kidding too!

Gosh dasfinc always gotta take it to the next level!

I guess I don't understand why you keep the car...

You own 3 cars, you are what, 19?

If you sold the Supra and the prelude, and sat on the infinity you could have some nice money saved up for furthering your school, or a newer sporty import of your choice I'm sure.

Supra is my choice of car from the 3. If you saw it in person, you wouldn't think it looks bad at all. I keep that bitch CLEANN! Wash it like every 2 days and wax it every 2 weeks. Car just needed some TLC, that's it. It's a hardtop (Rare) and it has 108000 miles which isn't shit for a 94.

Car runs, drives straight, looks good, reliable, and is my dream car. That is why I keep the car. Plus I have a fat turbo awaiting it so another reason I'm keeping it :)

You are right on the selling the supra and staying on the infiniti part, I would have some nice cash, but cars are my hobby and I love it :). Plus it would be an asshole move to sell the car after my uncle basically gave it to me for nothing.

Oh ya and I got a full ride scholarship for college so paying for school is no worries for me :)
