I have a set of Alpine Type R's in a nice ported box and a Alpine MRP-M500 amp.. It does 500RMS @ 2 ohm.. Its a nice little amp. I bought it new last year from best buy for $200. I would take $350 for all of it.

OR.. I have a single Kicker CVR12 (400 RMS @ 2ohms) in a single ported Q' Logic box for $150... $100 for the Alpine Amp.

If you are interested I can get pics..or even a video...

oh.. LOL! Not even close man.. For $200 you may find some kid on CL looking to sell some Sony Xplodes with a walmart amp or something.
not to burst your bubble, but used car audio has a horrible resale value.
i picked up a single 12" type r in a slot ported box with a 500w alpine amp for $150 last spring.

i feel as though my offer of 200 to you is more than fair.

I know you want a pair but my buddy is thinking about selling his very lightly used JL 12W7 in a ported box with what I believe is a 700 rms amp. For that right price I'm sure he won't say no because it's been sitting around for a while.
if the price is right, yeah, ill buy. but im not payin retail. im looking for someone that has a setup collecting dust and wants it out of their way, or someone that needs some cash..

If you're going to compare other stuff out there, at least make it a reasonable comparison...The 1st one is JUST subs & box for $200.. They were probably beat to shit by Josue who pulled next to people and made them change lanes.. LMAO!

The 2nd one is an OLDER model AMP.. Mine is the newer version of that amp, that I purchased NEW. That box will not work in your vehicle (unless you are putting it in a jeep) So, you are still going to need a box. Not to mention the Fact those subs are old to boot...

I'm the original owner of my stuff and I know it has never been abused, clipped or in any other way mis-used.

I understand the idea of trying to score a deal, but in order to get a deal, you have to be able to recognize one...The stuff you posted is old and more than likely beat to hell. I have a little room on mine but no where close to where you are trying to be.

He won't let it go CHEAP, but it definitely will not be near retail value. The amp is pretty nice too. He just had it in the backseat of his pickup truck and it hit really nice.

I don't know how you feel about online car audio but I was on this sonicelectronix.com and they had a kenwood/pioneer setup. Comes w/ 2 brand new subs/amp/amp kit/dual box for anywhere between $200-$280. Not top end but I am sure decent for the price. Also free shipping and all brand new. Good luck hope this helps.

FYI: My prices are no where near retail. Type R's retail for over $200 EACH..Amp $200 Box $100-$150

No offense man, I agree with what you're saying, but nobody pays retail value for car audio anymore if they know anything about it. Especially someone on a forum. You can find R's for 120-140 all day long online, and that amp for less than 150, all brand new. Shit man I bought 2 lightly used 12w3's (you want to talk about retail value, these are $270 EACH retail and it sucks cause I fried the coil on one a month after I got it), a JL A1800 mono amp, very nice and tuned ported box and a capacitor for 375 bucks. It was from a friend, but regardless, car audio just loses value easily.
