engine is out of the truck now, man i'm beat up. I have to go through the wiring and figure out what i'm going to do to the trans line. I still have a lot ahead of me :(

thanks everyone for the comments, i cant fuckin wait to have it in. One thing concerns me is the tune, b/c i loaded it in for the 6.0/80e and the display came up Reduced Engine Power mode. Which was the same issue my brother had until he cut back the WOT opening from 100% to 96% on his TB. I'm hoping its something easy anyway

pics of the engine soon

trans is about 70lbs heavier, but i think the power will make up for it. and when i do gears later on it will cancel out. 2500HD's have 4.10's and i have 3.73's but became lower with the wheels. On top of it the 1st gear in the 80e is a 2.482:1 and the 60e is a 3.059:1. So I'm thinking of 4.10's or 4.30's with my 32" tires

well, sorry for the delay on pics. I ended up leaving the next morning for KY, had a death in the family :(

but here are the pics.

The crossmember i mocked up. This one was actually short so I had to cut it apart and extend it

DSCN0729.JPG

the new extended on in place fully finished, just have to paint it

the new slip yoke

just set the intake on, slowly getting there

had to extend the trans line, but i have to look into it further with the headers on

DSCN0744.JPG

The headers and the lower bellhousing seem to be giving the most trouble. I wanted to try to get one header set in there but its against the frame rail and the trans line and top corner of the bellhousing are in the way

driveshaft to face=not fun. I landed a burning hot muffler on my chest once. That was fun being trapped between the creeper/muffler/frame.

ooooooooohhh that sucks. I'm all good though, just another scar

the truck is I'd say 95% done and almost ready to fire up. Tomorrow is the day.. Got a few more pics I'll post up tomorrow. I can't fucking wait any longer!!
