Good point, Angus. I don't miss the crazy tracking of the Bullitt rims and low-pro summer tires on the GP.
17x9.
my car's not really a feather weight... but no lx car
soon, I'll be running 245's in front and the 315's in back.
what im thinking is selling the blizzaks that are on it, to get new snow tires for the pricks... and just having these on the 300 year round. the 8 times a year i need to drive in snow, the pricks on blizzaks is plenty good... why dick around with rwd and 400+ hp...

turbo is better in the snow
haha, wide perf tires on the DD, and blizzaks on the racecar to drive in the snow. KJ u soo crazy!
makes sense though
KJ, when did logic start running your life?
Also, you looking more for grip in a straight line with a good ride, or great around the bendies? Let me tell you, those LX cars aint very good around the bendies.
srt8s can handle significantly better than a normal lx from what i have read... and it sure feels as such too...
its not like a lotus... but it aint bad at all.
i mean its not a cts-v but... normal lx cars do liike .77 on the skidpad... whereas srt8 counterparts do .88... thats a significant difference.

if the 275s bulge out any at all from the rim, go with the 255s. I ran 245s on stock regal rims rather than 255, and the bulge KILLED the already poor handling, because of how the bulge caused the sidewall to roll under. I suppose the sidewalls on the 3hundo are a good deal shorter, but I think it'd be a better driver with the 255s, or at most, staggered.
If i pooped in a bowl and called it rainbow sherbet, would you eat?
Just be aware of how little your tires will last. May ride nice but 4100lbs is no picnic for tires.
255 all seasons suck bad enough in the snow, I cannot imagine what 275s would be like.
GP in the winter is the way to go. I spent $1k on the G8 getting 17" wheels and snow tires.
This
If the 275 have any bulge in the side wall it will kill your handling. The side wall should be straight up and down with the lip of the rim.
I think you should get the ventus v12's in 255/45's. It's an awesome tire.
