i added solid motor mounts too, i think im gunna just lengthen the ds and call it a day

i imagine the mounts would only change the vertical placement, whereas the aftermarket kmember could have slightly different horizontal driveline positioning

This makes no sense at all...before you go through the trouble of getting it lengthened. Put the car on the ground and roll it back and forth to settle the suspension. With any lower control arm car your rearend moves in an arc, so be sure to settle the car before measuring how much yoke you have hanging out. I've delt with this before. You should have an inch to half inch showing out of trans..It should NOT be all the way in tight..or you will burn up the thrust bearing.

Most aftermarket K members usually will move the motor back some for better weigh transfer. But I haven't seen this in LS car K members.

i have moved the car all around so the suspension should be settled, even when lifted as eagle said the DS does not pull out though, i have 1.5 in of yoke that should be in the trans. the motor cannot be any farther back, it is dam close to the farewall as with any LS car.

the rear end has non-adj tubular control arms and it was never out of the car
