I need a shoulder to cry on. The city is now $300 richer and i still owe another $300. Three red light violations in over a year and tint ticket/parking violation.

the tint ticket is from 2008 and i am not sure i ever received an actual ticket for this.

There was red light violation that i was not sure i was in violation maybe i will investigate further. There is a right turn green arrow that comes on when the light is red. $100 for that one.

On a second red light violation i was clearly at fault, i have no idea what i was thinking. Still though its not like i gridlocked traffic or caused an accident, at least not $200 worth. I need to be more careful. The last red light violation is so old i cannot even view the video or photo.

So sad, this sucks so much for saving money this summer.

I usually follow the rules, probably about $300 worth of tickets over the years. These red light cameras on the other hand... Technically if you do nothing wrong they don't mean shit, so it's kinda like a catch 22. I just cringe coming to a stoplight and it turns yellow afraid the person behind me is going to welcome themselves into my back seat. :hs:

I could have swore a camera got me on my way home from Bourbon St., but I have yet to recieve anything in the mail.

check online they post up the footage there pretty quick.

I know its not a lot in general but for me its over the average. 07 and 09 was clean but looks like i have been slacking a lot.

I think most of the red light violations happened on runs where i was in hurry to get somewhere. Cost me more by rushing instead of the usual.

red light cameras are a trick bag,
you could be doing 45mph ( posted speed limit ) and get tagged....what are you supposed to do ? slam on the breaks and get rear ended because the person behind you wants to make the light and not get tagged ??

shit happens, pay it and move on i guess

Must have been on 99th and Halsted. If you look at the cross-walk sign on the SE corner it has a countdown that I use to determine when the light is going to turn yellow/red.

I flew up to a light with a redlight camera and I had to slam the breaks (no one behind me, I checked) to not get a ticket, the camera still flashed since it thought I was going thru since I was moving pretty good.

i think i witnessed my first red light camera accident. Corner of Harlem and Addison. Two SUV collided as my light was going green (still red). The red light camera actually flashed taking an image of the wreck because the front SUV was pushed into the intersection.

It appeared as though the front SUV was not sure about going through on yellow and suddenly stopped and the second SUV did not anticipate the stop. Also, it was a low speed accident and no fenders or hoods were damaged.

That is my version of the wreck for all i know both drivers were chicks having a moment.
