Transformers begins shooting in Chicago

Megan Fox isn't even that hot. I don't see why everyone freaks out every time that they hear her name. She only looks good on the big screen cause of all the make up.
We had our bachelor/ bachelorette parties this weekend and the girls just happened to being staying at the Hotel Monaco downtown. The streets below their hotel were all shut down for Transformers 3 shooting.
Well the next morning my brother calls his fiancee and she tells him that they're shooting the movie and that my fiancee is in the window wearing lingerie and has the entire crew distracted. We assumed this was somewhat of an embellishment until we got there. Sure enough we get there and there's Patrick Dempsey and Shia Lebeouf hanging out on the set waving to them, making the phone sign with their hands and signaling for the girls to come down.
She went down to the street and spoke to Shia for a few, he congratulated her on getting married and she got hit on by one of the prop guys. All in all a bucket of fun!

In the center of the picture you'll see a guy laying down. The guy above him is Patrick Dempsey. This was during a scene take. They shot this scene 5 or 6 times when we were there.
The worlds most bad-ass chase vehicle, a Porsche Cayenne Turbo with a camera crane.

I'm looking at all those pieces sitting in an empty lot across the street from my office.
They're filming on Van Buren at the post office near my building. Went over to our parking garage's 6th floor and saw them scream around the corner into the post office with all the rides; Camaro, Vette, Kodiak, etc. Seeing the Kodiak drift around a corner was pretty cool
