We'll I have some money now from parting out the mustang and I'd really like to do the trans and stall at the same time and get it over with.

It's not really where I'd like to put the money right now, but I plan on spraying it eventually and I'd rather build it first then wait for it to kill itself and be out of a car for a while. And I also like the idea of having it done to mine rather than buying somebodys used built trans.

Anybody have a trans/speed shop they would recommend?
I'm hoping to do it sometime this month.

a built 4l80e could be a viable substitution for something that's a little more durable as well right?

4l80e is almost the same as a turbo 400.. only differences are the 4l80e is electronically shifted and it has a overdrive... obviously there are some other differences but internally there almost the same and can both handle a ton of power when built properly
